Torches
Buying a torch does not have to be complicated. You just need to start by determining your requirements. Where will you mostly use the tool? Would a heavy flashlight hinder you from doing your job?
It should also have a high level of brightness, which can affect its run time. Therefore, you have to consider its battery consumption. Many torches use standard alkaline batteries. The type you use will depend on the size of the tool. For instance, if you have a large flashlight, it may require D batteries. Most of the time, however, smaller torches, as well as those head flashlights, use AA or AAA batteries.
In some cases, it is possible to switch from alkaline to lithium batteries. The latter can hold the charge longer and can work better even in cold weather.
